Ella Joy

Today we went to gymnastics class #2. Ella was much more prepared this time. This morning we went and got her an outfit to wear and she looked forward to it all day.

Her favorite element was the bars. She could of hung there the entire class. Good thing the other kids had to take a turn. Ella kept trying to do a chin-up on the bar. I thought it was hilarious.

The photo below is the bear crawl.

She worked really hard on learning a cartwheel but it is much harder than it looks.

This is her trying to stick her landing.

The one below is her working on the lower balance beam. I have more of the tall balance beam. She did great - jumped right off the end and even did a spin move!

She couldn't get the concept of jumping with both feet from the spring board. Sarah (her teacher) worked with her and she got it!

oh my word....that is the cutest thing I have ever seen. I saw Kevin's Twitter pic last night and told Stephen that Ella is 24/7 in costume. I see now that she was in a gymnastics costume...which is utterly spectacular. I can't wait to shut up here so I can look at those pics again...what I wouldn't give to be there for one of her lessons. She is the coolest kid ever.

I am so happy you have her in gymnastics! That is perfect for her!! And I can't believe what a big girl she looks like out there! It made me get tears in my eyes, realizing how old she is. It goes by fast, doesn't it? :) Everyone always says that, but it really does! She is definitely her own little person. I am so proud of her for being so brave to try all these new things! Those are the cutest pictures!! Thanks for posting!

Oh My, this is so Great! She looks like a professional sticking that landing! I'm so happy you have her in this class. I know she just loves it and talks about it until the next week. I wonder if I signed up KK for the Saturday class in March, if Ella and KK could go together while you are here? They would love it wouldn't they. Can't wait until you all come to town.

Oh how cute! She will be great at gymnastics. I still remember how much she loved jumping before she was crawling. I love the purple outfit, too. It's so Ella.
